I thought the same thing about the eco and the starter however as f6 is such a nice and friendly series, and because there's so many of you with ecos, Lee's dad starts everyone so you don't have to :) well that's how I saw it at the last two rounds :) and if you take it to a practice day there's always someone willing to help if you need starting.
I think, with regards to the weight, if your under 75kg you add the required lead needed to the kart, simples.
The front runners seem to be running on Bridgestone ylbs from kf2 and the like however others are on tkm maxxis greens and I've got so many senior mojos I could use them haha but I'll be going the YLB way.
With regards to the power, from what I have been told and I understand the class is self policed. So, although you have to run to 30hp, no one really checks, unless of course you turn up and run away at the front then ears will start pricking up. The way I like to see it, the front runners have to keep to the 30hp and the ones at the back it doesn't matter as if them running 31hp means there keeping up and making the racing interesting throughout the field then so be it :) but as said it's a very friendly series and I've been welcomed and you will be too :D
If I recall correctly colin sold an eco tonykart a little while back and it was a very quick combination. There's going to be an f6 practice day up at buckmore either February or March be sure to come along and say hello I'm aiming for as little of a broken kart at the end of the day than I usually do haha
Thanks, Thomas..........
