I would spend 1500 minimum. I went down the route of buying cheap. 500 off flea bay. my kart ain't adjustable as I want it. will need new engines at a cost of around 800 to 1000. chain guards. centre tank conversion. new body work that's all just to be msa legal. by then I will have spent 2k and have something not adjustable. spend up front it'll pay off in the long run.
