It certainly must have helped today at PFI which was wet to say the least but good racing.

But we still suffered running problems with the offside engine -cleaned jets etc but would cut out occasionally causing need to restart on the move.

It was happening across the field but not with everyone and clearly the front runners didn't suffer that much.

Made me think that water being thrown up by the wheel on that side - which is closer to the air intake because of the way the engines are mounted - was being ingested more by that engine - certainly see anyone suffering with near side engine at all, all day.

I was thinking there might be some mod available that would stop water being thrown up from being 'jetted' into that airt intake to resolve or at least minimise the problem.

Anyone any ideas.

I suppose one thing could be trying to mount that engine further inboard but it's already rubbing up against the seat
