Stripped and rebuild our carbs today, and noticed that the pulse take off is taken from where the carb joins the engine.
The banjo bolt protrudes into the block about 5-7mm.
Would this effect engine performance?

I was thinking about removing the banjo and fitting a nut so that it wont protrude so itis flush with the casting.
