from memory. ecomoto was single cyl watercooled 4/ built by dutch racer and maxxis importer harm schur man.based on kawa 250 but built as c c ca kart engine. it had a reduction drive and clutch to 1/2 inmch pitch m/c chain. a geared off board starter,barry callen was the uk distributor and he claimed parity with the biland in 250 trim. mike hayden wrote some stuff in karting mag and called il the spitfire.colin gray is the ecomoto man these days.
