Good morning Kelvin, thank you for past support and guidance re: all things technical.
As for insurance issues being the reason for my admission being declined... I have explained elsewhere but will include again here for clarity...
# I was telephoned and asked to attend the WL meeting by the then current Manager # I took my tools and equipment along to the scrut' bay # I unpacked my toolbox and asked the MSA scrut where I could set up? # I was told that they could not/would not work with me or alongside me as it would get them expelled from the MSA for working with a Non MSA scrutineer. # To enable the meeting to continue I immediately packed my tools into my car again and went to meet the Manager and discuss the early morning events.
He asked me to attend the following day and scrutineer three engines with my Non Invasive kit. I subsequently checked the engines in front of the Manager, a scrutineer and the circuit's engine builder.(showing the speed of checks, the accuracy of my equipment and the repeatability of each check) I also used my usb microscope to examine the piston crown of an engine that had suspect damage from previously.
So... insurance issue, nope... political, definately!
As for the latest T2 engine being suitable for a fiche to be written... I guess I have gone along with the general rumour that this particular engine is the best yet for consistency of mass production.
