bit of history here. prokart and later honda cadet were introduced as much cheaper alternatives to existing classes as an entry level class.the concept was v.popular. very earlyon big bucks teams appeared in endurance racing with top flight drivers. the same karts ande drivers then appeared in poor mans sprint racing and destroyed it.20 years on and and prokarts are arguably the most expensive on the grid and honda cadet is no longer accepted as a poor mans begiinners class.
