It has been brought up before Gaz, and there are numerous good and bad sides to both tyres. The kartlines are 3.5kg average heavier than dunlops so porkies like yourself gaz ;-) struggle to get to the 180kg limit on the scales at teesside that hard for most anyway lol The kartlines do offer good grip in the wet which is something that is needed with not running wets. But i dont see why it would be an issue if the dunlops were used instead as its the same for everyone. Aslong as it remains not wets i then it remains an attractive alternative 'club' race. Having said that the dunlops are more expensive but u can probably get more life out of them, but clearly boucher says in his thread the kartlines are cheap! Ill try and put this to dave see qhat he says, although i think he does see what goes on here
