I need to update that bit about the carb spacer. It was introsuced to the regulations when the ut1 engine came out but Kelvin got some mis-information and the part was actually from a GX270 engine. He only found this out after i brough about 30 of the carb spacers in based on the part number that he had and realised they were too large.

The GX160 engine DOES NOT ship with a carb insulator with a take off for the pulse pump. Some of the GX270 models do. If anyone needs any of the carb insulators for the GX270 with the take off let me know as i have loads of them :-(.!

Hope that clears it up. I will be updating the Honda Engine History soon and it will appear on our new look web site in the next few months.
