I just thought i would put something on here about my experience with the Dunnies that i bought recently, just to warn anyone else who is unaware of what may lie ahead.

There are several batches of tyres that are still in circulation, all of which are being sold as jsut regular SL1's, but recently i bought some from a well known karting supplier which had the white marks on them, went to Kimbolton for R1 of honda challenge only to find myself over a second off the leading pace, which is rare for me. the set of tyres ihad made my kart handle SO bad that i thought it was bent or tweaked as it was the first time out since the kart had had a huge shunt last August. there was NO front end grip at all...it was just horrible

down at clay it was the same story for saturday practise, 9ths slower and by this time id had enough and decided to blow caution to the wind and grab a set of these purple tyres everyone else was on. sunday 3 lap practise came and instantly i had found the 9 ths i had been looking for on the saturday. the kart had grip, and the adjustment made to the kart actually did something to the handling!

I think its wrong that prokarters and cadets alike are able to buy sets of tyres that are SOO far apart in performance its unreal, it wrecked my weekend at kimboloton...

So a word of warning to people buying new sets, ...MAKE SURE that they are NOT white spotted. there are, as far as i know, green/ bluish and purple batches, which are the more recent ones than white, purple the newer of the two...
