Totaly agreed. But from a cadet dad point of view what do you do when you know other kids are getting bigger engines. Do you sit back and let them catch up with you or do you look at what you can do engine wise. We changed to Honda because we couldn't afford to be good on comer grids. Now we get the same thing in Honda and it's exactly what we were told didn't go on. You want to see little johnny do his best but if he loosing cause of power issues what do you do.
You only have to listen to some of the super1 engines and they even sound completely different to an average motor.
They say there is no money around, but there is loads being chucked around in every kart paddock.
We don't want to win super1 but would like to be up there in club races so how do we do it ?
