So as a thicket - whats the difference between an RPM SP engine and a Blue Printed engine?

Also - Why do RPM appear to have their own version of the dyno graph which is different to the other engine builders? Is it just the equipment each of them use? In theory an engine running 5.5 at one builder might by 5.8 at another and therefore relative value increases?? - or am I being really thick this time? :)
