I have a suggestion - BrianP feel free to voice your opinion lol - that's not sarcasm
What happened if either:
1)The rules specified that both dunlop and bridegstone tyres had to be used throughout the season, or e.g. no more than 4 race days you are allowed to use the same tyre - I know if it's wet this would ruin this idea.
2)Tyre's used by 'winners' were used by the bottom half of the field in the subsequent races. Thus those 'at the top of their game' would probably buy to new tyres in the first instance anyway.
3)Let's not get stuck on about tyres. There are so many other factors out there. Engines. Chassis. etc etc
4)I know not everyone goes out to win when they go racing.
