at the qualifying rounds a gridding system was put into place creating a suitable handicap, the racing was kept close (as you can see by reading the bit of a summary)

the final however is a one off race, those who have qualified from the quali rounds will take up the front grid slots relavent to their qualification position. . . then a second grid behind them will be for everybody the has not yet qualified, pulled out of the hat for positions within that grid. its a one off race, winner takes it all.

so far we have not had a problem, and all kart types have been pretty equal. . .
