Hi.

It is, i would have thought the cheapest class to race.

Per meeting I spend:

entry Ł50
Tyres Ł25
oil Ł10

The tyres i buy are secondhand, usually from a kf championships. Once I have used them i sell them for Ł20 making my meeting cost Ł65.

This is plus fuel, wear and tear, and damage.

I normally buy 10 litres of fuel for the kart and use about 5 litres, then put the rest in the mrs car.

I did 5-6 meetings this year and had no damage. (this cant last forever.)

My engine will need Ł200 spending every 50 hours, in 2011 it will do 7 meetings. roughly 50 minutes running per meeting......

If i do any testing, that is extra.

wear and tear is the other factor, the kart is having all ne nuts, bolts and bearing changed over the winter. Cost so far is about Ł25. Brake pads will last the season.

I may have forgotton some things but this is a good guide.
