Ahhh, good stuff. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t end up with just two drums!

We have always ran our chains two links different on the MS. With our current kart setup the 98 chain means that the right hand engine is not too close to the seat. However, if we ran a 98 chain on the left hand engine we would be in danger of the sprocket carrier bolts hitting the rear oil filler.

It just seems to be how the engine fit on the chassis. Most people I have spoken to who run an MS seem to do the same.

However, I would not be able to comment on a 7Kart as I’ve never ran one before. I would like to compare the 7Kart with the MS, to see what all the fuss is about!

Come and find us next time your at 3S, we run the number 51 kart. Would love to take a look at your brand spanking 7Kart!
