Bike helmet is fine. Weights can be bought from most kart shops like zoom.. etc or look on ebay. Most karts have weight post brackets welded to the chassis either side of the seat. If your kart has these you need to get some weight posts. If not you can buy sheets of lead from a building supplies and cut / form it to the shape of your seat and use that as a seat insert. Stopping in the coned area is for safety purposes as there is an entrance to the pits there. Chain guards - i attach a bracket to the engine and attach the other end of the guard to the rear bumper. Plastic strip type is fine and commonly used. Again easily sourced on ebay. You need to use 3 sisters fuel for the 1/2 hour practice / qualifying and for the race. Price is Ł100 if you pay at the track... Ł90 if you pay in advance.
