Ok, so we're actually going to get our kart to the next race in October so got a couple of questions..

Helmets... I have a bike racing helmet and would rather use that for the time being rather than buying a karting helmet - Will this be ok?

Both of us will need to run with some lead to hit 180kg... Where do we get this from and where on the kart do you put it?

You must do three pit stops... is that right? And, what's the score with stopping in the coned area? Why do you need to do this?

Any magic idea's for fitting chain guards? Have seen that most just use strips of rubber... Is that literally all there is to it? Does it matter how we fix the rubber strips to the chasis?

You need to use 3 sisters fuel... Do we use that for testing earlier in the day as well?

Last but not least... How much is it to enter the race?
