I agree with Jim that the YDS would be the best option... but not for the same reasons. If we were to actually organise a race, then it becomes a regular thing YDS is the best option.
I disagree that everybody has them because we have to think about what the Rowrah catchment area is. The majority run Dunlops or have experience of them. The catchment is probabaly a 100 to 150 mile radius.
That probably gives...
40 Dunlop shod karts from Warden Law 20 Bridgestone or Cheng Shin shod karts from 3 Sisters 15 - 20 Sumo shod karts kicking about in Scotland, who all have run on Dunlops at some stage.
If we could get a 30% turn out from what is effectively the local area we'd be laughing!
For a first attempt it would be sensible to say Dunlop or Bridgestone.
