Hi Malcolm, If we got £1 for every failed attempt at setting up Enduro we would be ..... A 4 hr enduro would mean 2 fuel stops (unless you were Alpha) so 5hr would be better than 4.
I think 3 hr would be best, because you could be comfortable with fuel with 1 stop. And if you couldn't get a team mate, you could do it yourself.
Kartline tyres are cheaper and last long enough for Enduro are faster and more exciting but i would choose Bridgestone YDS cause every body's got them and "understands" how they work.
Choose your own gearing would make you faster, but I would have fixed gearing.
Entry fees need to be as cheap as possible for a specified introductory period and free entries to "selected" reliable teams to get the ball rolling. Most drivers need some sort of recognition and you need to have ( in my opinion) enough classes ( running concurrently) to allow every driver to be potentially capable of a pot. Elite, Clubman, Rookie, Heavy, Seniors etc. Only 1 pot per team.
Need scrutineering ( or the realistic threat of scrutineering)of engines and tyres. I would be happy with yourself Malcolm
For us it would be 1.5hr to get there 45 min set up race 3hr race 1.5 hr back 7hr from 5pm to midnight return. My recommendation would be Sun 10am start. Hope this is helpful Kind regards Jim
