i use 428 chain too,and i did have a split link failure which ultimately cost me a first in my class overall,but to be fair the chain/link was on the kart when i got it so it was an unknown quantity,but it`s all been renewed and has been fine ever since. i agree with itpro,why not use them on the prokarts,especially on the inboard side??
