regs state (not word for word) that one pair of slicks and any number of wets may be used for a single race meeting (be it over one, ytwo three or more days..)
also that, the rear wet tyres must protrude from the outer wall of the sidepod when what is deemed to be a "straight" edge is held parralel to the wheel, on the wheel.
when using slick tyres, the straight edge will be run from the furthest forward edge of the rear tyre, to the same position on the front tyre. when this is done, the side pod must not come into contact with the straight edge, and therefore sit flushly inside.
i say that thats what the blook book states anyway, but its all done in pictures, and these can be found on page 368 of the blue book.
