Hi all, recently purchased an 06 CRG ROAD REBEL chassis to get started. We've been looking for a low maintenance air cooled engine to get ourselves going and the first thing we looked at was a Honda GX 390.

I'm told that if we try and mount this particular engine we will not have have enough room to do so because the sprocket would interfere with the seat mount on a CRG. The Honda driveshaft has to be mounted on the inside to get the right directional drive we want and therefore it would stick out too much on the opposite side affecting our right side pod.

I'm told I could cut and re-weld the chassis to suit but not really keen on that idea as we've just affected a slight repair to the chassis already.

Our budget is not great but all feedback is welcome cheers guys n girls,

Stu
