Happy Wheels.

It’s like the age old saying, “If it’s too good to be true then it probably isn’t” and I just think that’s the case with fuel additives. I like others have also tried and failed with that one years ago. For what we’re looking for they are a waste of money. I’d rather have Ł5 off a test session or put it towards new tyres.

There is one additive that you may wish to try that’s been around for years and years though. Without mentioning the brand name - it’s RED in colour and alphabetically the letter falls between W and Y and it’s on sale virtually everywhere. This won’t give any added performance value whatsoever, but a tiny drop in the tank during a TESTING SESSION cleans out the jets beautifully and then regular unleaded does the rest.

Completely agree with your point about using tyre compounds though. If it’s good enough for other classes and improves grip and tyre life - then why not?
