Good points; Power delivery, fairly flat torque curve, fuel economy, superb driveability in the wet. Lovely on-board sound. No doubt that it's a good engine on the track.

Bad points; never quite mastered cold starting - found it easy to flood and then difficult to restart while still cold. Remote starting can be a pain, particularly from cold when operating the choke increases the idle speed significantly! But, the biggest bad point for me was that Tal-Ko would not sell me any internal engine parts.

Overall summary...gone back to Rotax Max.
