YDS - YES, why not.
Been saying it for years. Why have one circuit in the whole country that has to use a one-off tyre.

Time was long ago when 3S used to put the owner drivers out with their corperate karts and chengs are used just the same a Kartline or Maxis are - because theyre cheap and durable for arrive & drive use.

We all used to use standard , 'out of the box'Gx160's too. Just try and compete there these days with anything less than RPM or the like, and to challenge the front grid without selected part motors - you would need to be Lewis Hamilton with a two lap start! (and believe me some of the regulars could give LH a lap or two).

I'm just trying to point out that the prokart grids that have been in excess of 30+ all year prove that things have moved on an awful lot since the days of the corperate/mixed grid that has not been run there for about 6 or 7 years now.

So why not become the same as every other circuit serious about prokarting and maybe even attract even more teams and please, before anyone claims that an extra £20-30 for the B/stones is too expensive - well maybe they could look for a cheaper form of motorsport.

Time to move with the times chaps!

Stu (Std RPM's, below std ability) - Format 96
