In the newsletter the point has been made that a simple split of Elite drivers , 13 of them, and Clubman, 34 of them, may prove to be a very short term solution if more new drivers turn up. What we have tried to do is think longer term assuming that the grid will grow. No one likes change mid season...but we need to find a solution to the problem. As for the points finishing last in Group A will get 1 more point than the winner of Group B. However in the next race the 5 highest placed drivers in Group B will now be in Group A gauranteeing them more points for that 1 race.If they stay up in Group A...great, however they may be relagated to Group B for their next race etc etc. If you have a better suggestion taking all interests into account we still have 3 weeks before the next meeting.
