I think it also depends which chassis you have. We have a bowman with an XL tillet seat fitted, but it was quite a squeeze to get it between the seat brackets. We also have a pirahna with an XL seat but it is positioned further foward as it doesn't just fit between the engines. Well worth having a look (and a sit in) other peoples karts with similar set ups.
