clutches should be fitted with the sprocket to the crankcase.thunderkarts used to break cranks using a clutch which could only be fitted sprocket out.the only reason for having the sprocket outboard is to give a bit more clearance for xl seats.you may have to reverse the shoes as in adjacent post.
