Yep, I've done S1 a couple of times and was considering doing the 2010 series. But nearly doubling the entry fee means it just jacks up the price of an already expensive weekend. I run on a relatively tight budget and also wondered why the prices have risen so much. They need to seriously justify this because for people like me, its pushed that budget one little step too far and I now dont have the opportuity to compete at that level. Well done Super 1 organisers, as if the sport wasn't expensive enough as it was, without you trying to double your profits overnight.
