Again, thanks for all the advice guys!

I am aware how the stiffness on the floor tray affects the way the chassis handles. However, I was just unsure whether 1mm aluminium would be too thin for a floor tray. I wasn’t sure if it would be too flexible that it would be in danger of bending or tearing as soon as you hit a rumble strip.

I will have to have a test with a few different thickness. The floor tray that was previous on the kart is pretty stiff, so it will be interesting to see how the aluminium changes the handling.
