thanks guys.

the ones i have fitted are the ones from zoomkarts i bought when i got new bearings to try them but they had no picture. they are not the clamp style but just a 1 one piece collar with a big grub screw - hence my confusion.

but i think graeme is right in that a correctly fitted bearing should be enough so i'll nip them up for now and next time the axle is off i'll remove them (get the rotational mass down!) and for now just drill 2 grub screw holes - one for each of the outer bearings (4 bearing wright chassiss) should be enough don't you think? or should i drill more dimples as there are 8 grub screws in total

I was originally concerned that the different makes of bearing might have grub screw holes at varying distances from the bearing (albeit a few mm at most) but having looked at the few types i have they all seem the same) so if changing bearings to a different make they should still locate correctly.
