I'm surprised the engine is usable at all on a kart with the governor in place. You must be driving on very short tracks with high gearing?

But short answer is at the very least fit a Genuine GX160 flywheel (not GX200), otherwise you are driving around next to a potential hand grenade.

Next, would be decent valve springs, GX140 copies found on Ebay or G4's. This will help prevent valves bouncing and dropping.

Of all the clones the Loncin is probably the best and outside the stresses of all out racing might hold together.
