Hi guys,
I know this subject may have been covered before, after searching i cant seem to find the answer i'm looking for.
Basically, now i've got my engine up and running, i'm looking for a bit more power out of it. I'm thinking of removing the governor on the carb linkage and the internal part of the governor also. obviously i'm going to decrease the life expentancy of the engine by doing this, but to what degree? Will i kill it within one or two long sessions or can these little 4 strokes handle quite a lot of abuse. can I can limit the amount of revs by the pedal stop bolt? I'm not racing, just a bit of fun for me and my boys so i havent got to adhere to any rules as such. But if in removing the governor i'm basically giving the engine the death sentence i wont bother.
Thanks in advance chaps
Lee
