Oh dear, seem to have opened up a whole can of worms here...lol.

Seriously though, changed the settings on the clutch shoes today, and hey presto no more banging clutch.

On the nut front i took the 19mm socket on the drive shaft and worked a treat.

Its nice knowing that you've got maximum torque on the nut and no possible damage to the cooling fins or any other part of the engine.
