can anyone nelp my sons been using a 2nd hand gx160 approx 10-15 hrs use just for track days ive uprated the valve springs set .004/.003 exhaust/inlet at tdc aligning arrow on pull start at the 12`o clock pos
engine runs fine but seemed slower than others its not been race tuned but been degovened so ive done a compression test and best reading ive had is 5.5bar approx 80-90 psi am i right in thinking a standard engine is 8.5:1 compression it should be 125 psi(8-9)bar so should it be due a rebuild
