I don't think that pool engines would be good enough because there are differences. You would end up with the top 3 being disadvantaged.
If everyone had a checked pool engine, that might work, but at what cost?

Everyone knows that engine preperation is part and parcel of the Comer class but the Honda's should focus on being the class where only driver and chassis set up count and within reason everyone can have an engine good enough to run at the front. You would certainly see more people arriving and staying in karting if this were the case.
