No - the "safety" difference is the current 180kg down to 175kg. So the maximum difference to the situation now is 5kg.

So its 25kg to 30kg.

I still don't believe it matters.

The skill idea will give people something to aim for as they get better. The weight idea only helps those who want to diet.

If you insist on a heavyweight division make it 195kg so the 14 stone drivers who currently can't kart can get into it - I'd happily carry weight to even it with the heavier drivers and make it "fair" without whingeing about it. Its easier for me to carry the weight than for them to lose a leg.

Having a 10k difference is just pointless and divisive.
