Hi, I have for some months been looking in to purchasing a Honda Cadet Kart for my 7 year old son. He has show in interest in karting and now completed his 2 beginner modules at his local Daytona circuit. He is 8 in January and has a few arrive and driver session booking at Thruxton Karting circuit on and around his birthday. I was going to got him a used Cadet Kart for his birthday but am now getting an ear bashing from the wife saying its too soon. In my view I just want to give the little guy a opportunity to try something and feel that he is most likely to succeed in his own kart.
Now I am beginning to question if the Mrs has a point and that she may have a point! My question is at what point do you invest £1000 in a Kart for the little guy?
Your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
