I have driven them all and the best by far is the MK1 7 kart with Mk2 mods. just sold one too and regret it as I am certain I could set it up and be as fast as anything new (assuming I could get rid of it's excess weight (well driver weight!!)).

Anything after that was a bit hit and miss. I haven't driven the new one to be fair but had a good run in prototype mk4s and they were all so vague.

I used to really like the Wright r2 in its day and when it was set up right it was awesome but the set up window was so narrow that you could end up constantly chasing the track. I have not seen a new one in a while.

But my chassis of choice for the past 6 years has been the MS. I think I have had 6 variants and they are all slightly different to drive (but easy) but all really light and simple to set up. In fact all we tend to do is play with tyre pressures. We haven't used the 2015 model yet but will do soon i would suspect.
