Show me the dyno readouts submitted to 'Renault' by Renault to indicate the engine performance they were contracting to provide. Failure to produce would no doubt void the contract.But I'm bored with this. Let's go back a bit. In your first post you attempt, probably 'tongue in cheek' to perpetuate the myth that a dyno cannot measure the torque/revs hence hp of an engine accurately and in absolute units e.g hp. That is nonsense . The parameters are very easy to measure to any degree of accuracy required. It follows that any other dyno can do the same and therefore the max hp figure for example will be the same for both dynos as both are giving an accurate result.If the results differ(allowing for the small estimated correction to actual engine power resulting from change in atmospheric conditions) (( note this is a correction to the actual engine power, not the dyno)). Then one or both dynos are reading incorrectly and need recalibration. Just how ,and why do they get all the 1 foot 'rulers' exactly 12 inches long.
