I take it you mean viscosity.

Go with what you can afford. The Joe Gibbs oil is 0W10 or 0W20 and is fully synthetic but the difference oil makes to performance will not be noticeable if you are starting out.

When I first started it was bog standard Castrol GTX for Diesels that we used which I bet was 20W50.

Mark makes an important point on Coolpower - it will not mix with other oils and a flush with fuel might not be enough to ensure you get rid of it.
