In theory you should position the engines to give weight distribution 40% front. 60% rear.to 45% front 55% rear with you in the kart fully kitted out, measured with scales or balancing the kart on a knife edge. In practice you will probably find you haven't too much scope for moving them and weight distribution will be okay anyway.Next factor is gearing ,you will probably have 20 tooth clutches and back sprocket will be around70t .So clamp the engines where you want them and fit the right sprockets. Split the inboard one with a hacksaw to fit it.Take a length of chain,any length, but not joined into a loop.split one if you need to.Count the rollers. Put the chain round the clutch sprocket and over the rear sprocket. It will be either too long overlapping or too short leaving a gap on the sprocket . Count how many rollers more or less you need on your actual chain compared with your test chain and split to suit. You will need to re rivet the inboard chain in position. The outboard one you can rivet and slacken the engine to fit.ATBOL
