Thanks guys, had a great night stripping and re-building my engine, really enjoyed it and in a way i'm glad the engine casing caming away. A huge amount learned doing this at very little cost (£2.98 for a new head gasket and got the other parts given from the guy I bought the kart from.

A HUGE thanks to lard ass Bob, great guy and very helpful, can't thank you enough. Also thanks for the posts.

I have a half shift from work tomorrow....Warden Law here I come (weather and track time permitting)
