P1 dry set up 15mm front and full out on the rear. but as he's a novice plus it's cold at the moment may be run 20 at the front and 5 in at the rear to give him a bit more grip. In the wet run 35 out at the front with super offset rims and 15 in at the rear

I've never raced at red lodge so I can't help with gearing sorry
