One of the major pluses of the Extreme class is the equality of the motors. It is all in concept stage at this juncture but it would make complete sense to have a buy-back scheme at the Ł400 it would cost for a new engine or for the fastest engines to be given to those that came last in the previous round.

This latter point needs some thought but the theory being that there would be no point in blowing cash to get an SP as if you were too successful then someone would just have them. As RPM control the spec it is as easy as throwing the motor on the dyno to check that they are where they should be.

I think the concept is awesome and if it means that prokarting can get back to where it was before Cadet fathers started paying silly money for engines that has to be a great starting point. The additional power would simply be a bonus.
