Just had a pretty unsuccesful race weekend coming away with a bent chassis and a lot of headaches.
My son is in his first season in Honda Casdets and this was his first race off his novice plates. What made this worse was the thump that caused the damage happened on the 3 lap warm up!
I didn't want to spend money upgrading his kit (zip storm approx 4/5 years old and gx160 T1) until he had spent more time behind the wheel and when I did upgrade it would have to fit into a budget.
I am looking for any advice you might care to throw my way. Namely:
1) Has anybody got a zip storm that they are looking to get shot of?
2) Will the new chassis homologation in January generate a flood of older models on the market as those with cash look to upgrade? What happened last time?
3) Suggestions as to how I might get to the end of this season without serious expense!!!
I would appreciate any help you might want to throw my way.
Thanks
