I would try and get one of the faster more experienced drivers to have a session in your kart. Generally it would be a kart swap for that session you could then see if your times are better in the other kart.

We were racing at the weekend and we were about a second off the pace. We tried everything and ultimately the buck had to stop with the driver. We had a track walk and an honest chat and on the Sunday we were back on the pace. Small lapses of ocncentration on the track can devistate your lap times.

Check your chassis with a reputable workshop

Is the driver usualy on the pace? If so can you identify when it all started to go wrong

Where do you race?
