'Rumour Control' around the paddock whilst waiting for the ambulance was a broken pelvis. When I read earlier in this thread that it was a broken collar bone I was somewhat relieved as they do fix fairly quickly (I've had one!)

The list of injuries above is truly dreadful and I hope something positive comes out of this 'incident' in that drivers are more aware of the possible consequences of their actions on the race track.

There is no need to put a fellow karter in hospital in the chance of winning a Ł5 trophy!
