Sorry, just need to get this off my chest.
As someone far too old and knackered to do more than 24 minutes, but having been involved in motorsport for 45 yrs, I have to say that the whole Prokart scene is right up there with the best organised championships/categories that I've had anything to do with.
Any occasional 'issues' are usually a result of enthusiastic involvement and passion, and seem to me to usually generate reasonable, and very importantly all-inclusive debate.
For me it encapsulates the spirit of old-school amateur club (car) racing which has pretty much priced, and badly regulated itself way beyond most peoples pockets. And reading posts on this forum, other kart categories have fallen into this trap.
I think that those responsible - highly competent organisers, scrutineers, and non-rip-off suppliers deserve a massive pat on the back.
You know who you are. It takes strong, sensible, fair, far sighted & committed effort - a bravo from me.
